Overview
How to report copyright infringement.
Hmonster Deals / Couponbro respects intellectual property rights and complies with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. This page explains how copyright owners can submit takedown notices and how affected parties can file counter-notices.
Designated agent
Where to send notices.
All DMCA notices and counter-notices must be sent to our designated copyright agent:
Email: support@hmonsterdeals.com
Subject line: DMCA Notice — [your name or organization]
Notices sent to any other address may not receive a timely response.
Filing a takedown notice
What your notice must include.
To file a valid DMCA takedown notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notice must include:
1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list). 2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on our site (URLs are best). 3. Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address. 4. A good-faith statement that you believe use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. 5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf. 6. Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may be rejected.
Our response
What happens after you file.
On receipt of a valid notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material expeditiously, typically within 5 business days.
- Notify the user who posted the material (where applicable) and provide them with a copy of your notice.
- Forward the notice to any third party hosting or display platform if appropriate.
We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or delay action on notices that appear incomplete, abusive, or made in bad faith.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed in error.
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Send the counter-notice to our designated agent (above) including:
1. Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal. 2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification. 3. Your contact information and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, the Northern District of California), and consent to accept service of process from the original notice-sender. 4. Your physical or electronic signature.
We may restore the removed material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice unless the original claimant files an action seeking a court order against you.
False claims
Knowingly false notices.
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Do not file a notice or counter-notice unless you have a good-faith basis for the statements you make in it.
Repeat infringers
Account termination policy.
Hmonster Deals / Couponbro will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers. We may also terminate the access of users whose conduct, in our reasonable judgment, indicates a pattern of infringement, regardless of whether each instance has been individually adjudicated.
